YOUR INPUT TO THE FUTURE OF IN-DEMAND SKILLED TRADES IS IMPORTANT TO US!

The Workforce Planning Board of York Region, is looking for insight into the local labour market conditions for skilled trades. This project, requested by the Ontario Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities (MTCU), will engage with local employers, service providers and interested stakeholders to determine local perspectives that are not generally captured in larger scale reports or studies.

The results of this engagement will be used by the Workforce Planning Board of York Region to highlight areas of focus in the local skilled trades market. The province will also use the results to inform ways to modernize and transform Ontario's skilled trades and apprenticeship system.
