Funding for Child Care Operators in York Region

The Ministry of Education announced funding to support a wage enhancement grant/home child care enhancement grant in the licensed child care sector. The wage enhancement funding is intended to help close the wage gap between program staff in licensed centre based and home based child care and Registered Early Childhood Educators working full time in full day kindergarten programs.
This funding is available by application only. Applications will be available starting on May 1, 2015. Completed applications must be submitted by June 30, 2015.
